Schwarzenegger to Veto Same-Sex Marriage Bill

California has become the first state to approve a same-sex marriage bill in its legislature; however, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said he will veto the bill in accordance with the majority of California citizens who voted in 2000 to restrict marriage to one man and one woman. Read the National Coalition's booklet Thinking Critically, Acting Compassionately by S. Michael Craven, vice president of Religious & Cultural Affairs, for a Christian response to homosexuality. The booklet stresses that Christians are called not only to speak out against the homosexual agenda with truth but also to be the instruments of Christ's love to those involved in the homosexual lifestyle.

For a reasonable defense of marriage, read the National Coalition's booklet Why Is Marriage Important? by S. Michael Craven, vice president of Religious & Cultural Affairs at the National Coalition.
