CONTACT YOUR U.S. SENATORS AND ASK THEM TO VOTE YES
ON THE MARRIAGE PROTECTION AMENDMENT

On June 6 the Senate is expected to vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA), which would legally define marriage as the union of one man and one woman – so now is your opportunity to contact your U.S. Senators and ask them to support the Marriage Protection Amendment.

To help you understand why this is such a crucial issue, the National Coalition has produced a booklet titled Why is Marriage Important? A Reasonable Defense of Marriage, which provides sound arguments in favor of marriage between one man and one woman. We encourage you to take or send this booklet to your U.S. Senators, with a note attached that respectfully requests them to vote YES on the Marriage Protection Amendment. You can call our office at (513) 521-6227 to request a copy of this booklet. But do it soon so you have ample time to send it to your U.S. Senator before June 6.

To find your senators’ contact information, go to www.senate.gov, click on the “Senators” link in the upper left corner, then choose your state and click on your senators' names. You will be taken to their individual websites where you can find all their contact information.

You might also consider making a phone call. Each state has only two U.S. Senators - two phone calls from you is all it takes to make a difference.
