NATIONAL COALITION RELEASES NEW BOOKLET ADDRESSING June 17, 2004
Cincinnati—The National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families has just released a new booklet, "Thinking Critically, Acting Compassionately: A Christian Perspective on Homosexuality." The 28-page booklet is the third in the organization’s Cultural Apologetics Series. Other booklets are "Where the Battle Rages: The Sexualizing of America" and "Why is Marriage Important? The Reasonable Defense of Marriage." The latest publication addresses the myths and misconceptions of the so-called "gay" lifestyle; spotlights the objectives of the homosexual agenda and how it threatens social order and the Church; and explains how Christians should respond to the homosexual issue. Authored by S. Michael Craven, the National Coalition’s vice president for religious and cultural affairs, the piece stresses that Christians are called not only to speak out against the homosexual agenda with truth but also to be the instruments of Christ’s love to those involved in the homosexual lifestyle.
