Cincinnati— Christians looking for a strong intellectual rationale for opposing pornography will find it in the National Coalition’s newest booklet  “Pornography: The Deconstruction of Human Sexuality.”

The 32-page booklet is the sixth publication in the organization’s Cultural Apologetic Series. Authored by S. Michael Craven, vice president for Religious and Cultural Affairs, the piece offers readers intellectual, scientific and biblical reasons for opposing pornography.

Craven discusses how “private” behavior like pornography use does indeed affect public morality. In addition, he includes some noteworthy research that supports the reality that pornography poses a serious and growing health and safety risk.

Additional titles in the Cultural Apologetics Series are Where the Battle Rages: The Sexualizing of America; Why Is Marriage Important? The Reasonable Defense of Marriage; Thinking Critically, Acting Compassionately: A Christian Perspective on Homosexuality; and Modern Sex Education: The Indoctrination of a Generation.
