Increased Indecency Fines Pressure Networks

Since Congress approved a boost in the maximum indecency fine on radio and television from $32,500 to $325,000, it appears networks are finally listening. Prior to airing commercials and programming, additional review is taking place to eliminate objectionable content the government would find indecent and thereby fine. Truth In Culture Weekly Resource

The National Coalition has long recognized the myriad complexities of cultural issues and the necessity of Christians to fully understand the origins of those ideas that challenge the truth of Scripture. Without such understanding, it is difficult for the Church to effectively bear witness to the Truth. This was the impetus for establishing the Center for Christ & Culture as a ministry of the National Coalition.

One of the principal resources offered by the Center is the Truth in Culture Weekly, a free e-commentary written by its Founding Director S. Michael Craven. Delivered each Monday by e-mail, Michael's commentaries offer critically acclaimed insight and cultural analysis from a biblical worldview.
