Joanne joined the National Coalition in 2002 as a grant
writer. In January 2004 she was promoted to Director of Development,
coordinating the Coalition’s fundraising efforts. Joanne works regularly
with major donors and foundations and facilitates direct mail and electronic
mail campaigns and our annual fundraising banquet.
In addition to her Development duties, Joanne leads groups
of young women through the National Coalition’s “Sex & Young America”
curriculum and speaks to women’s groups about the effect of the sexualized
culture on children and teens.
Prior to joining the National Coalition, Joanne worked for
Life Issues Institute, a pro-life educational organization and was co-owner of
College Hill Coffee Company.
She is a member of the Association for Fundraising
Professionals, the Planned Giving Council, and the Cincinnati Grantseekers
Network. She is a native of Cincinnati, was married to her late husband,
Jack, for 32 years and has the privilege of loving three grown children---Jacob, his wife Amy and her daughter, Christy.
