National Coalition Equipping Men and Women Nationwide The National Coalition recently hosted two dynamic events in its Kansas City and Seattle regional offices. In Kansas City, 900 men and women came together on Friday, January 23 for a powerful Men of Valor and Women of Virtue event. Couples learned ways to combat the sexualized culture from Dr. Christopher West and Dr. Bob Reccord. Building upon that excitement, over 800 men from 144 churches attended the fifth consecutive Men of Valor conference the following day. Hungry hearts filled the pews at College Church of the Nazarene to hear about the reality men face in this sexualized culture and how to maintain pure lives. It was a true blessing to serve nearly 1,400 individuals between the two events. Stay tuned for information on both the Men of Valor and Women of Virtue conferences to be held simultaneously on January 29 - 30, 2010! While men were equipped in Kansas City, more than 160 women were offered hope and healing through the National Coalition’s Restoring Hearts conference at Eastside Foursquare Church in Bothell, Washington. The conference was uniquely designed for women who have been impacted by their husband’s sexual unfaithfulness—from pornography use to extramarital affairs.
