Dr. Dave Johnson serves as executive director of the National Coalition’s Charlotte regional office.

Prior to joining the Coalition, Dave was the president of Contend for the Faith, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers to contend for the faith of historic Christianity in every area of life and to uphold principles of biblical morality within our society for the benefit of man and to the glory of God.

Dave teaches adults, college students and youth groups in various churches on topics such as Thinking 101, Apologetics, Cults, Refuting Relativism, and God and Government. He regularly submits articles to secular publications in order to interject the Christian worldview into the marketplace of ideas.

In addition, Dave teaches Christians about other world religions, cults and other worldviews, equipping them to reach those who have a different belief system with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

He also lectures on cultural apologetics, helping Christians to integrate the biblical worldview into every area of life, including ethical issues and public policy.

Dave holds a Doctor of Ministry degree and a Master of Arts degree in Christian Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary.  He also currently serves on the faculty of Southern Evangelical Bible College.
