Claire Hertzler was named Regional Director for the National Coalition’s Atlanta office in July 2003. She directs the overall program in the Atlanta area, developing relationships as a consultant, presenter of psycho-educational programs, and resource to the faith community. She helps mobilize citizens behind legal and public policy initiatives; offers a Victim Assistance HelpLine and referral service; and partners with other organizations to promote the coalition’s mission.
Ms. Hertzler previously served as the Victim Assistance Coordinator for Citizens For Community Values/Atlanta for three years. In that position, she directed the HelpLine and Victim Assistance Referral service, conducted community outreach and made community education presentations. She planned two annual Sexual Addictions Conferences attracting 300 – 350 therapists from across Georgia.
Ms. Hertzler holds a B.A. Degree in English from Mercer University; a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; and an Ed. S. Degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Bravehearts, Inc.
