Cincinnati – The National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families affirms and applauds the top wireless companies’ wise decision to prohibit pornography distribution on their handheld devices.

“Until appropriate filters are in place to protect children, it would be irresponsible and negligent for corporations to offer adult content on their decks,” said Rick Schatz, president and CEO of the National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families.

While other global companies have benefited from the profits of wireless pornography, American companies are hesitant to sell racy material for fear of backlash from their current consumers.

“It is encouraging to finally see companies putting their consumers’ wishes and concerns above their bottom line.  For this, they should be praised.”
